Constantly performing their objective and protecting the family 24 hours a day is certainly their task and certainly what our dogs were bred and raised for, but equally as important is the fact that you will be bringing home a new, protective, loyal and loving member of the family. They are, for all intents and purposes, also your pet.
We at Secure K9 want you to understand that acquiring a Secure K9 family protection dog is a serious commitment of time and dedication. There is a minimum 8 week course that the family MUST participate in order to learn how to correctly “handle” your dog, as well as ongoing 24 a day consultation with regards to any and all issues regarding raising and caring for your Secure K9 family member. If you are looking for a dog that can be put in the back yard and forgotten about, Secure K9 might not be the place for you.
When considering a high level canine protection dog for you, your family or your business, all professionals agree that making sure you get the “right” dog is the single most crucial step. - Complete perimeter protection (any and all non-authorized intruders coming on the property will be aggressively apprehended)
- Front Door: Any and all knocking at the front door will be met with extremely aggressive barking and growling until given the command to stop. Once your dog realizes that the “guest” is wanted, he/she will quite down immediately and allow the “guest” to come in.
- Sub sequential Threats: Should a threat arise after someone has been let onto the property or inside the house, your Secure K9 will be on “alert” constantly. Should the need arise, your Secure K9 will act instantly

- Alert and warning to any and all strangers that approach until “ok” command is given
- Aggressive barking and growling at all strangers who don’t “keep their distance”
